Hello everyone! The 2008 chase season marks my 8th year of chasing with each year ranging for two to four chase trips. This will be my 3rd year with SLT and I’m thrilled to be part of their terrific group! I’m from southeastern Pennsylvania and a retired general dentist. I have been a weather, and particularly tornado, enthusiast for many, many years. I guess that would be evident by the over 150 videos I have and more than 300 tornado related books. These include materials such as original newspaper reports dating from 1802. My prize possessions are: a prefect condition copy of John Park Finley’s book, “Tornadoes”, inscribed: “From the author, the first book sold May 11, 1887 John P. Finley” and a perfect copy of "U.S. Tornadoes - Part 1" written and signed by Dr,. Fujita. I've watched and read them all. I’ve been hooked since my first chase and can’t wait for this years tours: #1, #3, #5 & Northlands Lecture Tour. I love the "hunt"!
