Hi! I have a M.S. in Meteorology from Texasഀ A&M University and a B.S. in Meteorology from the Universityഀ of Oklahoma. I am president and co-owner of Silver Lining Tours. I successfully operated Silver Lining Tours in 1998 and 1999.ഀ I have also taught a course entitled "Introduction to Weather Forecasting"ഀ at Texas A&M University. Thus, I have experience explaining weather in ഀ simple terms to people with relatively little or no prior knowledge.ഀ I have participated in two major field experiments for theഀ National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL). I chased with IMAX forഀ the filming of "Stormchasers" and have worked withഀ National Geographic on an upcoming documentary. NBC national newsഀ and many local television and radio stations have interviewed me.ഀ I worked at NSSL from 1989 until 1992 while attending theഀ University of Oklahoma. I am currently working on a Phd inഀ Atmospheric Science at Texas A&M. I have been storm chasingഀ since 1988. My hobbies include weightlifting, playing the drums,ഀ and learning how to use new software.

Hi! I live just east of Denver, Colorado area in the heart of the highഀ
plains severe weather area. I have been chasing for nearly 15 years and absolutelyഀ
love chasing. I have seen and videoed over 60 tornadoes during the past 3 yearsഀ
alone. I spend an average of 100 days between April and August chasing, doingഀ
research and shooting videos for various media outlets. I have also been a probeഀ
driver for various National Severe Storms Laboratory projects. It is my job toഀ

Hi, I’m Alister Chapman. I am from England. I am a professionalഀ television cameraman and editor. I am a member of the Guild of Televisionഀ Cameramen and have a degree in Electronics. I have produced a program aboutഀ tornado chasing for National Geographic and have also worked for CNN, Discoveryഀ Channel, PrimeTime, the BBC and many other television broadcasters around theഀ world.
ഀMy role is to ensure the group get the most from their cameras andഀ camcorders. I will have a portable editing system and will be able to showഀ anyone interested how to edit and copy tapes. I will be able to advise anyഀ guests on what equipment to bring and how to get the most from it. I will alsoഀ be filming the tour for the highlights video.

Hi! I have a M.S. in Meteorology from theഀ University of Oklahoma and a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from theഀ University of Michigan. I am co-owner of Silver Lining Tours and a part-timeഀ tour guide. I was the driver of Probe 1, the vehicleഀ responsible for sampling the near-tornado environment, during theഀ recent Verification of the ORigin of Tornadoes EXperimentഀ (VORTEX). ഀ I also participated in Silver Lining Tours on Tour 4 in 1999 and helpedഀ us to see a spectacular tornado in Montana. I've always wanted to seeഀ a tornado in Montana! I had a lot fun being a tour guide during the '2000 tours.ഀ I have been storm chasing in the plains since 1991, and in the Midwest sinceഀ 1985. My hobbiesഀ include weightlifting, running, biking, hiking and cross country skiing.
