Great Plains Lecture Tour witnesses two tornadoes in West Texas - Wednesday, May 14, 2008

Roger Hill led the group to a photogenic "elephant trunk" tornado and then a needle tornado not far from Colorado City, TX this afternoon.

Great Plains Lecture Tour Witnesses Tornado in Southeast Oklahoma - Saturday, May 10th, 2008
The Great Plains Lecture Tour witnessed an elephant trunk tornado in the Kiamichi mountains of southeast Oklahoma. A very grueling chase day resulted in a tornadic supercell intercept just north of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.  
Tour 2 witnesses numerous tornadoes in Arkansas - Friday, May 02, 2008

Tour 2 intercepted several significant tornadoes and intense tornadic storms in Arkansas and northern Mississippi.

Tour 1 Witnesses Kansas Supercell and Tornado! - Thursday April 24, 2008

Tour 1 witnessed a beautiful supercell and nighttime tornado northwest of Hill City, Kansas on April 24th.

Tour 1 witnesses West Texas tornado! - Wednesday, April 23, 2008

Tour 1 witnessed a fairly well-contrasted tornado from about 2 miles away near Patricia, TX in Dawson County. Estimated width about 200 yards wide. It lasted nearly 12 minutes.
