Canadian Prairies Tour Sees tornado in MN - Wednesday, July 14, 2010
All 2010 tours have observed tornadoes. This has been a record year with 84 tornadoes observed and documented by us during tours!

Northland Lecture Tour Scores Again on Day 2 in Montana! June 21st
A beautifully structured supercell produced an 18 minute tornado near Broadus, Montana that we captured from the beginning of its life cycle. Magnificent storm!

Northland Lecture Tour Catches Tornadoes Day 1 June 20th!
The Northland Lecture Tour didn't take long to intercept its first tornado of the tour near Chugwater, Wyoming! The storm also produced hail over 4" in diameter.

Tour 6 keeps on rolling! June 17th!
Another amazing day with 13 tornadoes seen by Tour 6 in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. The Albert Lea wedge tornado was spectacular as were many others!

Tour 6 Catches Historic Tornado Outbreak June 16th!
Tour 6 intercepted 16 tornadoes June 16th near Dupree, South Dakota. One of the most amazing events of the year!

Tour 5 Hits It Again! June 10th!

Tour 5 catches Scottsbluff, Nebraska Tornado June 7th!
Tour 5 caught a tapered tornado not far from Scottsbluff, Nebraska from an HP supercell. Another chaser on the other side of it watched power flashes and billboards coming apart!

Tour 4 hits Jackpot!!! May 31st!
A fantastic tornadofest was captured by tour 4 in southeast Colorado on May 31st! The tour captured 5 tornadoes!

Tour 3 Scores Again May 25th!
For the 6th time on Tour 3, we intercepted tornadoes. This time in southeast Colorado at the town of Bartlett. We've had 7 chase days and 6 of those have produced tornadoes.

Tour 3 Intercepts Violent Tornado near Bowdle, SD May 22nd!
A cyclic supercell produced a mile wide wedge tornado and another 5 tornadoes in north central South Dakota! We were able to get within a half mile of this wedge.

Tour 3 Intercepts Day 1 Tornadoes May 18th!
Tour 3 hit the jackpot with 4 tornadoes near Dumas, Texas on the first day of the tour!

Great Plains Lecture Tour Intercepts Tornado May 14th!
Just south of No Trees, Texas the GPLT intercepted a sculpted supercell producing an elephant trunk shaped tornado. Another deviant supercell further south provided amazing structure, large hail and the best lightning spectacle this year so far! Pics to come soon!

Great Plains Lecture Tour Intercepts Multiple Tornadoes May 10th!
A significant tornado outbreak occured May 10th in Oklahoma. The Great Plains Lecture Tour was there to intercept 7 tornadoes. (Some photos courtesy of guests Dr Ken Fitzgerald and Ruth McAvinia)

Twin Tornadoes Intercepted by Tour 1, April 30th!
Tour 1 had its second day in a row of tornado intercepts. This was the motherload with a large wedge and a smaller slender tornado intercepted in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri near the town of Gainsville. These pics show just how hard it is to see tornadoes in the hills and trees.

Preseason Tornadoes Caught! April 22nd!
The 2010 tornado season got off with an amazing event on April 22nd in the Texas panhandle. Roger and a lucky small group of guests caught 5 tornadoes!
